Ms. Laurmann became project manager for a complete redecorating of the outside and interior of my 3,000 square foot home. Most of the work was accomplished while I was abroad. She independently monitored all the work being done. This also included moving all furniture out of each room and returning it. There is extensive artwork in the house which had to be safeguarded and reinstalled. This was accomplished in a very professional manner. Her reliability and honesty were essential assets during my absence. Sylvia was very adept at reorganizing and setting up a file system for a small nonprofit organization I am responsible for. During the project she agreed to set up a home file system for me. She efficiently compiled approximately three decades of records and organized them in a systematic manner. Sylvia Laurmann was the project manager for the renovation of my large kitchen, bar, laundry room, two bathrooms, and my office. I relied on Sylvia for the best product sources and for contractor selections. She was involved in every aspect of this process and arranged for and negotiated all pricing. The actual work was done during a three-week period when I was in Europe. She functioned as a general contractor regarding providing access, arranging for deliveries, and scheduling the trades involved. She supervised the work and insisted on the highest quality. Certain necessary modifications become apparent after demolition and during installation. Sylvia clearly communicated these by phone and understood my wishes. If you are like me and you become a deer in the headlights when it comes to organizing your home and you’ve been staring at the same clutter for far too long, you need to hire Sylvia!
